In the last Story World Newsletter, I offered a sneak peek at the newest cover. Today, I'd like to share the first couple of chapters.

For those who don't remember, the Lavender Vale Farm series started out as part of Melissa Storm's Sweet Grove Kindle World. 

After Amazon closed down the share worlds platform, the series was reverted back to me. I've changed up the names of places and certain characters, and have now republished it as my own mini-series. 

At this point, Blessed Gifts will be the last Lavender Farm book, unless people would like to see more from the little Texas town of Thistle.

Yes, another Madison Creek book is on it's way out into the big, wide world. 

I really enjoyed writing this one. It's quirky, had a few little tidbits of things that I've experienced in my life: such as the fated canoe ride. Yes, most of that happened. Ha!

There's also some tough topics in this story that many married couples have faced. Problems that threaten test the strength of a marriage. 

While I wrote this story, I chuckled sometimes, and other times typed with my heart in my throat. There might have been a tear or two...but we'll see what you think.

Since the Kindle Worlds closed down on Amazon, I've had the rights to my two Sweet Grove books reverted to me. Which makes me happy. I can now do even more with the books, than I could before. I've re-titled Love's Mercy to Merciful Love. And I updated the cover and a few things with the story. However, if you've already read it, don't worry. The core story is the same, nothing has changed except for a few timeline issues I noticed needed defining.
