Last week I talked about creating a prayer journal and how it can help us to have a more effective prayer life. This week, I'll go through the sections I include in my journals and provide a few pictures as well.
Please keep in mind that this is how I put together one of my prayer journals. Each one changes a little as I get more comfortable with this technique. These are merely suggestions. If you choose to make one of your own, then do what works for you.
Let's get started...
Parts of my Prayer Journal
Basically, I break my journal down into 3 or 4 parts, (depending on how many pages the journal I’m using has.)
What you want to do is take whatever journal that you are going to use and divide it into three or four parts. The first section will be where you make a list or journal about things you are grateful for. This is important. I truly believe that starting our time with the Lord with a heart of gratitude goes a long way in connecting with our Heavenly Father.
