Frequently Asked Questions
Here are Some of the Most Common Questions I Receive...
1. How many books are in the White Road Chronicles?
Right now, there are six books planned out for the White Road Chronicles series. However... Just so you know, when I first started this endeavor, I only intended to write one. Then I decided to turn it into a trilogy, because it seems Alyra and her friend's had more things to do. Well, that three turned into more. I know exactly what happens in the last scene... but I'll make no promises on how long it takes me to get there.
Now the World of Alburnium has been expanded. Go back in time when the land was divided in Provinces and ruled by Regent families. You'll witness Darnel growth to power and meet a few friends, in their earlier years. This series is based on fairytale retellings and each mini-series is three books each. Start off with the Lionheart Province, then move on to the Phoenix Province.
More to come!
2. What order should I read your books?
Well, if you've not read ANY of them, then start with Captured from the White Road Tales novella series? Why? Because The White Road Tales trilogy gives a lot of background that Alyra can't remember in the first couple of books. Not only will you get a glimpse of what she's forgotten, but you'll learn how Darnel managed to steal her memories from her in the first place. And that's important! Very important. But I'm not going to tell you why. Not yet, anyway.
3. I enjoy romance stories. Will there be more to come in the future?
If you are a romance reader, you'll enjoy my Madison Creek novels, the Madison Creek Township novellas, The Grimwood Legacy billionaire series, and the Lavender Vale Farm trilogy.
Though I have enjoyed writing romance, my true passion is fantasy. For the time being, I will put the majority of my focus on writing enchanting fantasies. In the farther future, I might revisit Madison Creek or the Grimwoods to write the stories I still have ideas for. So, in short, though I am putting most of my efforts in writing more fantasy, you might find an occasional romance story release. Keep posted by following me on Amazon and Bookbub. And please, consider giving my fantasy books a chance. They also have romantic threads flowing through them.
4. I want to be a writer. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Bless your heart. Writing is the most enjoyable and frustrating field anyone can go into. I've wanted to be a "for real" writer since I was eleven years old. I'm now much older than that. Like, a whole lot older. Anyway, my number one suggestion is to WRITE!! Stop talking about it and just do it. Seriously, you don't have a book until it's been written. Once you write one, you might want to go do that again. Then once you've written a few stories, and learned your craft, it's time to start considering sending them babies out into the big world. So, my second suggestion is to be patient and stay on course. Just like Alyra is always told: Stay on the Path!!
Do you have more questions for me? I'll try my best to answer them. Fill in the form below and send them to me. I'll post the answers here and I'll do my best to respond personally when I can.
Thanks and many blessings
