After a motorcycle accident nearly a year ago, jewelry artisan, Duncan Grimwood, still suffers from the aftermath and keeps himself hidden away.

His personal assistant, Barbara, insists it's time he re-enters the real world. She's set up an extravagant holiday gala to display Duncan's latest works and hired the only decorating company willing to take on this big project at the last minute.
