I don't like audiobooks. I enjoy reading, immersing myself in the story. When I read, the characters come alive in my head. They all have voices. Having someone read to me, ruins this for me

I've never tried audio books as it seems to defeat the whole point of reading. I am more of a visual person than an auditory one. I enjoy the physical process of reading much more than being read to.

I tried audio books several years ago, but whether I was driving or just sitting quietly somewhere listening, my mind would wander to something I needed to do at work or at home or to some item I needed to add to my grocery list. I found myself constantly having to rewind anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes, and it just became too frustrating. Reading the words on a page myself focuses my mind more easily for some reason.

I like listening to Audiobooks while knitting or crocheting or driving, but I can't listen to them now because they take up more storage space than ebooks on my device which makes it crash.

Audiobooks are my sanity savers. I have an hour - plus commute, each way, to/from work. There are some days that audiobooks actually make this a less onerous chore.

I like audiobooks but prefer ones with both female and male reading instead of just one. I usually listen to audiobooks when I do quilting.

Love audiobooks. We have been members of audible for years. I especially like listening to books when I'm at the gym or track. It helps pass the time. And we listen when traveling.

Unfortunately, I always seem to fall asleep listening to audiobooks as I'm listening late night after I get home from work. So I prefer paperbacks but my ereader goes with me everywhere.

I love audio books. Since I drive 2 hours for work a day Audi books are a blessing . Helps the commute much more enjoyable.

I love and use all three types! I have paperbacks, a kindle and both of us have a kindle fire to listen to our audio books!
My choice of yours to listen to would be Snow Belle. Thank you for adding me to your drawing!

I use WhisperSync on my Kindle from time to time. Mostly, when I'm making the 2 hour drive to my bff's house...I hook my Kindle up to my car stereo through the auxiliary jack and listen to the story as I cruise down the road.

I am so glad you will be releasing audio books. My hands are always busy with two grandchildren. I have a friend whose eyesight is bad and she needs more audio books.

I love listening to audio books when I have to do a mindless job. It helps me to keep my focus on my job while listening to a book. Even if I miss some parts of the story, I will listen to it again at a later time.

I'm on the fence... (Does that count?!)
I'm okay with audio books (usually when doing housework), but have a hard time getting into the story when it's narrated (often the narrator tries to come up with "voices" for different characters and some of those just make me cringe and dislike a character on the basis of not standing how they sound, which is ridiculous because that's definitely not their actual voice). There's also the fact I can't go back and re-read anytime I want... clicking the "go back" button sometimes repeats too little and most often, too much of the story all over again.
As for ebooks or an actual book, I'm also on the fence for which one I prefer, but then that was not your actual question.

I love audiobooks, especially when driving a distance! I haven't figured out how to put earbuds in and walk around, or work, while listening. I get distracted and want to sit down and listen. LOL

I have a couple of audio books. I just like to read a book more than listen to one. I also read books on my tablet. Because of my job, I make sure I have both a paper back book and my tablet with me. ounce I finish my paperback book, I will read from my tablet.

I don't like audio books as the spoken words don't create the pictures in my head that reading does.

I took advantage of the Audible free month. Then a membership discount sale. I love audio books (got one running right now). I also love reading. Almost all of my audio books are of old favorites that I know I will like. I have a few new ones as well. My 17 year old daughter & I are listening to a book we both like when we're in the car together. We bond while laughing. I read e books, paper books & listen to audio books. But I'm not an addict...no really I'm not!

I love audio books! I listen to them pretty much 24/7! I listen to them when I take long trips, when I exercise, or working around the house, and at bedtime to help me sleep.

I listened to an audiobook for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome! I just moved my phone to different spots in the house as I worked and I got so much done and enjoyed a book as well! I am rapidly becoming a fan. Thank you for the chance 😊

I absolutely love audiobooks. I don't always have the time to pick up a physical book, or an e-book, but I'm able to listen while doing other things so I can get my book fix!
