New Look is Here!

I've finally got to the point where I'm updating the covers and doing a bit of revisions and editing on the first two White Road Chronicle books. The new face of Luminosity, and hopefully a cleaner with less mistakes story, should go live shortly. The first changes should come to CreateSpace and Amazon. Later this week, I'll add Luminosity to other distributors such as Kobo, B&N, Ibooks and more! As those links become available, I'll add them to the White Road Chronicles Pages and the Series' book blog site.

At this time, Illuminated is with my editor. I'm hoping to have the new cover and interior uploaded by the end of August, or in early September. 

What's been great is having a chance to re-read the series while I'm working on the outline for Book Six. 
It's helped me to pick out story threads, and make sure I can tie everything up. 

And it's like reminiscing with old friends. Like, remember when Alyra caught her first fish all by herself?
And what about when Granny Fila first began suspecting who and what Katrina really was. And her "I tole you I weren't headin' fer Everlastin'!" 

​I've enjoyed going back. It's been a lot of fun. 

So, that's part of what I've been up to.

I know I've been kind of quiet, I've been too busy to make time to send out newsletters, or post here. Not even sure I've been able to post much on Facebook, though I try. Especially since we added a new member to our family. Have you met Banjo yet?

Banjo's job (So he thinks) is to make sure to distract me from that flashing box thingy on my desk. He does this by poking my leg with his snout, and dropping soggy toys on my feet. 

If that doesn't work, he sets his paws on my lap and stares deeply into my eyes. I'm pretty sure he's saying, "Play with me human, plaaaay. Throw the toy. Throw it. You are under my commmmand..."

Because of that doesn't work, I get a nip or face full of doggy kisses. He's seriously relentless. 

However, don't worry. I'm still managing to get my work done, despite the puppy cuteness. 

I have a holiday story under deadline. Another Madison Creek Novella that will be part of a collection of Christmas romances. Then I'm also working on edits on Raining Fools, which is the next Madison Creek B&B.

Between all that, I'm still plugging away at the White Road series. Both editing and planning out the next installment. 

o what do you think of the new covers? 

I have to admit, I hated changing them. I loved the original covers done by the talented Elena Dudina. Unfortunately, the covers as they stand do not look like they are part of a series. So, I think they are ready to be updated as I complete edits on the stories. So, for now, Illuminated and Luminosity are getting their face-lift first, then I'll start work on Emanate and Radiance- just getting an editor to go through them for me. 

I can't thank you all enough. Those who've bought my books and have told your friends. Because of you, I can now afford to pay for the services I need to put out better books. 

I'm sure there will still be mistakes and typos. I'm not sure if all of them can ever be found. But I was pleased with the fixes.
